Imitation crab grilled cheese mini sandwiches

I have leftover imitation crab and cocktail rye bread and also homemade  Sun dried tomato pesto  need to use up, With all these ingredients I made mini crab grilled cheese sandwich with sun dried tomato pesto and mozzarella cheese as finger's food, It turn out it these ingredients work well together, next time I will try to use real crab meat for this mini sandwiches. Ingredients ; - 3 strip imitation crab - 3 slices / mozzarella cheese - 3 Tbsp sun dried tomato pesto - 6 slices cocktail rye bread ( mini slices ) - 1 Tbsp butter Preparations : Heat butter on skillet on medium high temperature spread both slice bread with sun dried tomato pesto top with pulled imitation crab, mozzarella cheese and another slice bread, Cook in skillet and flip until cheese is melted.

tempeh sandwich with sun dried tomato pesto-mayo sauce

In a previous post I made this  Sun dried tomato pesto  and I start to use it as a part of ingredients in my recipe. I made fried tempeh sandwich in mini slices  cocktail rye bread  , spread with  homemade sun dried tomato pesto  mayo sauce ( sun dried tomato mixed with mayonnaise half and half ) Ingredients : - 1 block tempeh - 4 Tbsp vegetable oil for fry - 3 Tbsp homemade  sun dried tomato pesto - 3 Tbsp mayonnaise - lettuce - 12 slices cocktail  rye bread, or any bread cut in cube. Direction : Cut 1 block of tempeh  into six slice / large cube Heat vegetable oil in skillet, fry until golden brown both side in a small bowl mix the sun dried tomato pesto and mayo until combine spread both slice rye bread  with the sauce mixture,layer with lettuce and arrange as a sandwich cut triangle served as finger's food or appetizer.

Spicy peri-peri veggie burger

One of my friend gave me this peri-peri pepper rub, it good to use in any meat,fish or vegetables dish can be mix with olive oil,sesame oil or any cooking oil you like to create a paste with other spices or sprinkle to spice up the dish. I made spicy veggie burger made out of leftover quinoa,kernel corn, leftover cooked rice and kidney beans and lots of spices and  mozambique peri-peri pepper rub  as a main spice ingredients to add spiciness to this vegan burger. *TIP* Use less or much peri-peri  peper rub to level hot spicy as you like The recipe is vegan, for gluten free just omit the bread crumbs. If don't have leftover Quinoa, cook Quinoa and  follow directions on the package. Put leftover in the large plastic bag on parchment pepper in between, can be cook in microwave for a minute or cook in skillet until soft and hot and ready to serve as a veggie burger or as a side dish. fried egg cheese avocado sandwich

Garlic spread toast fill with fried egg topped with shredded cheddar cheese and avocado slices, perfect sandwich for brunch,lunch  or even for dinner. Creaminess from avocado slices it's just perfect, no need any mayo or spreadable sauce in it, One ripe avocado is enough to make four sandwiches. Ingredients for 4 sandwiches : - 8 Slices bread - 2 Tbsp  garlic spread - 4 eggs - 1 Tbsp olive oil or butter - 4 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese - 1 ripe avocado/ slice Directions ; Spread slice bread with garlic butter spread Toast in skillet until golden brown each side Fried egg with olive oil or butter , cook over easy,medium or what you prefer. Topping / sprinkle each fried egg with a tablespoon cheddar cheese put on a slice bread and top with sliced avocado and another slice bread ready to serve.

Spicy teriyaki tempeh mini sandwich

Looking for finger's food idea for a party this summer? This recipe it's very easy and simple to make,  Fried tempeh marinade with mixed teriyaki and spicy sauce or mild,served in slices bread as mini sandwiches. Can be served as finger's food or appetizers, And you can adjust a taste of spiciness or just simply marinated with teriyaki sauce if you don't like any spicy at all. Ingredients : - 1 block tempeh - 3 Tbsp vegetable oil - 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce - 2 Tbsp hot spicy sauce or mild/  Indonesian ABC hot sauce  or sri racha  Preparations: Cut tempeh into 16 thin slices ( square ) heat vegetable oil fry tempeh until golden brown about a minute each side meanwhile  in medium bowl mix teriyaki and hot sauce until combine Marinated fried tempeh in teriyaki mixed sauce for about 10 minutes Cut slice bread by four or use mini slices bread. ready to make mini sandwiches with marinated tempeh slices.

seapak popcorn shrimp sandwich

This is a short cut to have shrimp sandwich, I use store-bought steak rolls   seapak popcorn shrimp , spinach, drizzle with homemade  mango-naise sauce ( mango puree mixed with mayonnaise and hot sauce ) on top. Ingredients : - 12 oz seapak popcorn shrimp -  spinach,arugula or lettuce -  steak rolls mango-naise sauce : - 4 Tbsp mango puree - 4 Tbsp mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp hot sauce - 1/2 teaspoon mango powder ( in a small bowl mix all sauce ingredients until combine ) Direction: Cook the popcorn shrimp follow direction on the package fill the steak rolls with spinach,popcorn shrimp and drizzle with mango-naise sauce.

Heirloom tomato egg sandwich

This tomato sandwich inspired by fellow blogger Elisabeth's blog   Food and thrift . I need to use up fresh heirloom tomato and asparagus from the garden, still growing right now,probably just another month. Use bagel or slice bread and spread with wasabi mayonaise or habanero mango aioli . You will need ; - 1 bagel or two slice bread - 1 egg - 3 stalk asparagus - 1 teaspoon butter - 1 heirloom tomato - lettuce ( optional ) - 1 Tablespoon wasabi mayonnaise or - habanero mango aioli - 1 Tbsp frigo shaved parmesan cheese On a flat pan heat butter and spread around the pan, cook an egg and toast asparagus and bagel in the same pan at same time, Spread wasabi mayonnaise on a toasted bagel,add lettuce,slices heirloom tomato, fried egg,asparagus and topping with shaved parmesan cheese. microwave in ten second until cheese slightly melted.

Dairy free Grilled cheese and tomato

I know everyone can easily make a simple grilled cheese, but I just want to share about this   Tofutti dairy free and gluten free cheese   to the readers who don't eat dairy and gluten free, This slices cheeses is great for any sandwiches. If you have too much tomato from the garden this late summer use some of them for this grilled cheese tomato or sandwiches. you will need : - slices bread/ regular or gluteen free -  tofutti cheeses slices - slices tomato and basil - butter or any oil ( heat a little bit butter/oil on a grill pan/ skillet, grill bread until brown layer with  slices cheese until slightly melted add tomato and basil, flip it until both side looks brown )

Ginger wasabi chicken salad sandwich

My friend gave me this ginger wasabi sauce, I like the sweet and wasabi spiciness in this sauce,blend with regular mayonnaise for sandwich spread it's really yummy  :) perfect for  this easy and quick chicken salad with only four ingredients fix. Ingredients : - 1 can 12,5 oz  Kirkland chunk chicken breast - 1/4 cup sweet relish - 2 tablespoon mayonnaise - 2 tablespoon ginger wasabi sauce ( mix all the ingredients evenly and serve with any slice bread you like )

Chicken mango BBQ slow cooker

I create this chicken mango BBQ with store bought "Costco" cooked rotisserie chicken and leftover mango ginger habanero sauce  , it's sound too spicy but is not, I even add more spiciness to it and balance with honey ginger and sweet soy sauce for sweetness. Ingredients : - 1 large cooked rotisserie chicken - 1 onion - 2 clove garlic - 2 Thai chili pepper/ 1 tbsp red pepper flakes - 1 cup ketchup - 1 1/2 cup  mango ginger habanero sauce - 1 tbsp honey ginger - 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce - 1 tsp ginger powder - 1 tsp salt or more to taste Direction : remove all the skin from rotisserie chicken,pulled out of the meats and shred handed,set aside chop onion, garlic and chili ( chili are optional ) mix ketchup,  mango ginger habanero sauce  ,honey and sweet soy sauce put all ingredients into a crock pot,add dry spices and stir evenly until well mixed cook in low heat for about 5-6 hours ready to serve on the buns or any type of bread you like

turkey bacon sandwich with scallion cream cheese spread

Easy breakfast,brunch,lunch or dinner maybe, why not :)  if you like scallion/green onion you can make easy soft cream cheese spread in a minute or replace green onion with other herbs that you like. Ingredients: - Cooked turkey bacon, - bagel - soft cream cheese - scallion/green onion or any herbs you like - Any lettuce and bell pepper Easy to prepare. Cook 3 sliced  turkey bacon in microwave for 2-3 minutes mix soft cream cheese with thinly slice/chopped scallion or herbs you like spread  cream cheese mixture on bagel and arrange sandwich with any ingredients you like,lettuce, Bell pepper or anything you like on your sandwiches.

Tempeh sliders

Vegetarian/vegan tempeh sliders is perfect dish for a party or potluck, It's simple and easy to make you can use any ground spices or fresh, *tip* for Vegan just replace the egg with  little bit of flour mix with water. Ingredients : - 2 block tempeh / 8 oz - 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon salt or taste - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder - 1/2 cup chopped green onion - 1 Tbsp grated ginger - 1 Tbsp chopped lemon grass/optional - pinch  red pepper flakes/optional - 2 Tbsp olive oil - 2 egg - Martin's potato rolls ( store bought ) for topping : caramelized onion - 2 sweet onion - 3 tbsp olive oil - pinch of sugar  OR,simple avocado- naise - 1  ripe avocado - 1/4 cup Hellman's mayo Preparation : cut tempeh in cube, put in food processor add chopped green onion ,salt,pepper,paprika powder garlic powder ,red pepper flakes,egg and olive oil. just chop about a minute or so until all ingredient are smoot

Mango-Chicken Curry Salad

Have a great weekend everyone. This mango-chicken curry salad is perfect serve as a salad or on sandwiches. I do love this combination natural sweet from mango on this salad, and only few spices ingredients needed. I use leftover rotisserie skinless chicken breast for this recipe,or you can use cooked chicken from the cans too. so it's more simple and easy.It takes less than 10 minutes to make this mango-chicken salad.  Ingredients : - 2  cooked skinless chicken breast/from rotisserie/cans - 1 mango/diced/cut in cube - 1 cup diced English cucumber - 1/4 cup diced red onion - 1 cup  mayonnaise / I use Hellman's - 1 1/2 tsp curry powder - 1/2 tsp cardamom seed powder - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika powder preparation ; Cut skinless chicken breast in cube in the mixing bowl mix,chicken cube,diced mango,cucumber and red onion,set aside in the small bowl,mix mayonnaise with curry,cardamom and paprika powder,mix them well and toss into chicken salad mixture until co
