roasted sweet potato and tomato soup

This roasted sweet potato and tomato soup can be prepare as dairy free soup, just skip the sour cream and replace with coconut milk. I like spicy on the soup so I add hot chili and roasted together with the rest ingredients, if you don't like spicy at all you can skip the chili as well or just add pinch of red pepper flakes Serve with fresh store bought french baguette or toast. Butternut squash sweet potato soup

This  butternut squash soup recipe is one of my first blog post That I never share,I got the recipe from my friend Kitty,originally butternut squash with pears,but this time I made with sweet potato/yam, I made this soup so many times :) Ingredients : - 1  butternut squash - 3  sweet potato - 2  Tbsp olive oil - 1  yellow onion - 3  cloves garlic - 4 cups chicken stock / vegetable stock - 1 Tbsp Montreal's steak seasoning - 2  bay leaves - 1 tsp curry powder - 1 tsp salt or/by taste - 1  tsp black pepper - 1  tsp red pepper ( optional ) - 1 cup heavy cream Preparation : Peel butternut squash and  sweet potato and cut in cube chop onion and garlic then fry until cook/soft,add  chicken stock and all seasoning  ingredients except heavy cream Bring to boil until soft, and ready to blend or puree ( take bay leaves before you blend,and  )  pour heavy cream while you blend / hand blender or puree on food processor ready to serve with toa

Asian sweet potato balls

This Asian sweet potato balls are my family favorite when I was a kid, my mother use to make this so often to served with hot tea, It's just perfect snack for rainy day in Bandung west java Indonesia where I grown up. Ingredients ; 2 large sweet potato/ boiled until soft 1 cup grated sweet coconut 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoon corn starch 1 cup palm sugar powder sugar vegetables oil for fry confectioner's sugar Preparation : peel sweet potato,cut in cube and boil until soft and  drain the water and mashed add grated coconut,vanilla,flour,corn starch,mix until combine. make it a little ball about 1 Tablespoon of the dough roll with hand and fill with little bit palm sugar in the middle. sweet potato chocolate pudding

Sweet potato blended with cocoa, nutella and cream, a dessert pudding experiment it's turn out really well, so I ve been make this dessert so many time, I did try with regular potato but sweet potato/yam is better for this pudding recipe. Ingredients : - 4 medium  sweet potatoes/ peel and cut in cube - 1 egg - 2 Tbsp sugar - 1 Tbsp cocoa - 2 Tbs hazelnut spread/nutella - 1/4 cup milk - 1/4 cup heavy cream PREPARATION Boil  sweet potatoes until soft,transfer to food processor/blender with milk, put back on the boil pan add remaining ingredients : sugar,cocoa, hazelnut spread/nutella and egg, stir really fast with spatula ( make sure egg mix really well )   add heavy cream, stirring about few minutes until about boiling,then transfer to individual small bowl ,put in the fridge for about 2 hours or until cold,  served with whipped cream on top.
