Beef asparagus roulade

What I like about this  "beef asparagus roulade"  the colorful layered of the rolls ,thinly slice beef, layered with plain omelet and trimed asparagus and baked in Asian coconut sauce with Asian spices. This is the third time I made for our guests dinner, I serve with side of vegetables and   spiced basmati rice  or simple  Fragrant rice . Ingredients: - 3 cut flank steak/ thinly cut fillet steak - 4 eggs - 9 stalk asparagus/trim - Montreal steak seasoning - pinch of ground nutmeg,salt+pepper( for plain ,omelet seasoning ) rub beef with montreal steak seasoning Roll, layered with plain omelet and trimed asparagus.  Coated with coconut spices sauce and ready to bake.  Sauce ingredients : - 1 can light coconut milk - 2 clove garlic - 2 clove shallot - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 1 inch fresh galangal/1 tbsp galangal powder/paste - 1 tbsp ginger paste - 5 star anise - 2 stick Cinnamon - 5 cardamoms seeds - 1 teaspoon g

Pepper Steak Mushrooms

Ingredients : - 1 lb thinly slice beef/strip - 1 yellow bell pepper - 8 oz / package sliced mushrooms - 1/2 cup cherry tomato - 1/2 yellow onion - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 tbsp sesame oil - 2 clove garlic - 1 Tbsp grated ginger - 1 tsp  Beef base - 1/2 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce ( kecap manis ) - 1 tsp black pepper - pinch of red flakes pepper ( optional ) Preparation ; Cut beef strips into bite size, cut cherry tomato in half,cut onion and pepper into thinly slice,chop garlic and set aside,,, using wok or fry pan,heat olive oil and sesame oil on medium high temperature add garlic and slice onion  and grated ginger first,cook for awhile then add beef,stir until beef is cook or tender/change the color season with beef base,soy sauce,sweet soy sauce,black pepper and red flakes pepper add,cherry tomato,sliced pepper and sliced mushrooms,cook for another 3-4 minutes and ready to serve immediately,,,,serve with jasmine rice is best !! Beef strips in skewers

This beef dish is similar with beef satay,I use the same marinade ingredients for satay dished the only different  I didn't cut beef in cube,I use  thinly sliced Beef cut in strip. Ingredients : - 1 lbs beef/thinly sliced beef cut in strips marinated ingredients : - 2 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce/kecap manis - 1 tbsp peanut oil/vegetable oil - 1 inch fresh galangal /grated - 1 clove garlic /grated - 1 shallot/grated - 1/2 tsp lemon grass powder - 1/2 tsp ground turmeric Preparation : If use the grill soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes,before use to prevent them burning *tip* I use flat grill pan on the stove,its OK not to soak wooden skewers in water mix all marinated ingredients together whisk it until well mixed place meat in a plastic bag and put marinade mixture over it close bag securely,turning to coat. leave marinate for at least 2 hours if you ready to cook : Heat flat grill pan in medium High/ electric grill grill for abou

Beef soup

on the package,plus I add a potato and green onion  Ingredients: estimates 1 Carrot 1 stick celery 1 parsnips 1 turnips 1/2 stick leek 1 potato 1 lbs beef ( for stew ) 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 onion 2 clove garlic 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill 1 tbsp chopped parsley 1/4 cup chopped green onion 5 cups beef stock / 2 tbs beef base mix with 5 cup water 1 tsp celery salt 1/2 tsp white pepper/black pepper 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes soy nut  and  fried shallot ( sprinkle on the soup ) Preparation : chop onion and garlic,set aside cut all vegetables  and herbs ingredients on the package ( if use green soup package ) cut beef in cube/bite size ( don't forget wash cutting board after use for the meats ) heat olive oil fry onion and garlic until cook / looks little bit brown add beef stock or ( beef base with water ) add beef, cook until beef is tender after the beef is tender add all chopped vegetables and herbs except green onion and seasoning with,celer

Hard boil egg meatloaf and my second Award

This maybe sound funny,boil egg in the meatloaf, but hey this is what I love about cooking in my own kitchen I can create an experiment things, not like to cook at work I have a rule to follow,and stick with their recipe,,,,so when I'm home,,,,I'm free and I can play with my cooking LoL by the way,leftover always give me some idea,about cooking so,,,this time I had four hard boil egg. Need to us up soon, you never know is come up with this " hard boil egg meatloaf" I know someone was laughing at me here :) Hard boil egg meatloaf  Ingredients : 1 1/2 lbs ground beef ( 96-4 extra lean ) 4 hard boil egg 2 egg handful green onion green onion/chopped 1 tbs salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp galangal powder 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 tbs soy sauce 1 cup panko crumbs Preparation : if you don't have 4 hard boil egg ready,,,bring 4 egg to boil pre heat oven on 350 degree F   4 hard boil egg,set aside  on the mixing bowl,mix ground beef

Beef and cabbage soup Rendang

Unlike " beef rendang" thick slice beef with thick coconut chili's sauce and cook simmer for long time,this beef and cabbage rendang are soupy dish,and made by cut thinly sliced beef. Ingredients : 1 pound thinly sliced beef ( round eye beef roast ) 1/2 medium  size cabbage 1/2 cup coconut milk 2 tbs vegetable oil 2 shallot 2 clove garlic 2 red chilli's/cayenne pepper 1 inch of galangal 2 bay leave 2 star anise 1/2 tsp pepper+ salt to taste 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 tbs Beef base 1 tsp sweet soy sauce 5 cup water Preparation : slice beef in to small size/what u prefer cut cabbage rough big chopped set aside,,, chop shallot,garlic,galangal and chilli's until grounded heat oil on big soup pan fry grounded spice ingredients ( shallot etc) until cook or brown add beef base, and the rest of spice ingredients add coconut milk and water add sliced beef ( simmer for about an hour or so,,,after beef is cooked then add ca

Beef Tandori

First of all i didn't know what is tandori/Naan  bread use for,i see some at the grocery store,it's look like kind of pita bread, except tandori is more thicker,that what i think, i see some posting from my fellow food bloger  "My home diary in turkey " citra,,,,thanks for the inspiration.when you posting about this naan bread,its always look and sound YUM to me,,,, :) Then when we were on  vacation in cape cod area,Provincetown,MA we find autentic South African foods,a lot of pita bread with choices and type of salad,so i got lamb pita,  www.karookafe.com/  it was really,,,really good,we are back for the second time and i got the same order,indeed :) because we like the foods and the employees was very nice and friendly.
