Baked Brie in pastry

Ingredients:
5 sheet fillo dough
1 tbs melted butter
3 oz brie cheese/ Small block
1/2 cup  sweet jackfruit
2 tbs ginger syrup
Preparation :
Pre Hear oven 350 degree
chop sweet jackfruit
brushing each sheet of fillo dough with melted butter
cut block brie cheese by two in thin side
lay cheese on the center of fillo dough,topping with chopped jackfruit,and sprinkles with ginger syrup
fold them each side ,grease pan with melted butter
and ready to the oven about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
serve with  tsp ginger syrup and whipping cream if you like !!

Tricolor pasta with creamy pesto shrimp sauce

I have this tricolor pasta from world market  about a month ago.I like the store, a lot of interesting stuff to buy,not only  Food & Drink, what I like about this egg noodles pasta is the colors and looks like a bird nest,so yeah it's been a month I have to use them, while I clean up my pantry,to check the old stuff !!
I made simple pasta sauce with it,since I had basil pesto on the fridge need to use them as well...



Ingredients :
8 oz tricolor egg pasta nest
1 cup cherry tomato
1 cup cut fresh asparagus/12 stalk
Parmesans cheese ( sprinkles )

Pasta sauce Ingredients:
3 tbs basil pesto
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
2 cup cooked shrimp/ tail off

serving 3-4

Preparation:
Bring pasta to boil,and follow direction on the package
on another pan on low heat mix ,basil pesto,heavy cream,milk and cooked shrimp
simmer until  boiling and turn of the heat set aside
cut cherry tomato in half,
microwave cut asparagus with little bit of water for about 2 minutes
chopped parsley really fine

mango ginger strudel

Mango and ginger are my favorite ingredients I often use in savory or sweet dishes ,This time I combine mango and ginger in pastry as an experiment, sweet with ginger flavored and crunchiness from crust and walnut.



Ingredients :

- 10 sheets fillo dough - 1 ripe / firm mango - 1 cup finely diced walnut - 1/2 cup butterscotch chips - 3 Tbsp melted butter - 2 Tbsp ginger syrup - 2 Tbs minced/grated ginger - 2 Tbs powder sugar







Goi Cuon- Shrimp Spring rolls/Vietnamese cold spring rolls

Goi Cuon- Shrimp Springrolls  Freshly wrapped in rice paper with vermicelli, lettuce, cucumber, carrot basil and  cilantro,served with peanut sauce
This appetizer menu,is one of my favorite from Vietnamese cuisine,it is healthy food and taste really good with peanut sauce.
I made this for dinner tonight :)

Ingredients :
1 package Rice paper wrapper
big size  cooked shrimp/ one on each roll/estimates
4 oz vermicelli/rice noodles
bunch of lettuce
half of English cucumber
1 carrot
buch of fresh Thai basil
bunch of cilantro

sauce ingredients :

1/2 cup ground unsalted peanut
2 tbs sweet soy sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tbs hot sauce/sriracha/what u prefer ( optional )
2 tbs lime juice
1 tbs grated ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
( just whisk it together until combine )
 Preparation :
soak vermicelli/rice noodle on the water about 8 minutes/follow direction on the package and set aside
make sure clean all vegetable ingredients

Hard boil egg meatloaf and my second Award

This maybe sound funny,boil egg in the meatloaf, but hey this is what I love about cooking in my own kitchen I can create an experiment things, not like to cook at work I have a rule to follow,and stick with their recipe,,,,so when I'm home,,,,I'm free and I can play with my cooking LoL
by the way,leftover always give me some idea,about cooking so,,,this time I had four hard boil egg.
Need to us up soon, you never know is come up with this " hard boil egg meatloaf" I know someone was laughing at me here :)


 Ingredients :
1 1/2 lbs ground beef ( 96-4 extra lean )
4 hard boil egg
2 egg
handful green onion green onion/chopped
1 tbs salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp galangal powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbs soy sauce
1 cup panko crumbs


Preparation :
if you don't have 4 hard boil egg ready,,,bring 4 egg to boil
pre heat oven on 350 degree F

Green papaya pineapple cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup shredded green papaya 1/2 cup chopped fresh pineapple 2 cup flour 2 tbs baking powder 2 tbs baking soda 2 tbs cinnamon 1 tsp clove powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cup sugar + 3 tbs  1 1/4 cup vegetbale oil 4 egg
Preparation: shredded green papaya and chopp pineapple really fine,and marinate with 3 tbs sugar for an hour or so,,, pre heat oven on 325 degree F Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon,clove powder and salt. Set aside. In a mixer bowl, whisk together sugar and oil until well blended. Add eggs one at a time,add vanilla, mix well.add green papaya and pineapple mixture Add in flour mixture. Beat until well combined 
on the cupcake/muffin molds,line large baking cup and spoon cupcakes batter into mold/cups,fill only about 1/2-3/4,not too full so when the batter rise you don't have to worry about overflow ( just my experience things ) yield : about 20 + cupcakes

Green papaya salad

I bought green papaya about two week ago,originally i will mix it with other vegetables to make Indonesian soup " lontong sayur" but you know what, I'm forget about it,until all mixed vegetables boiling on the pan ;(   ,,,well that papaya won't go bad for a two week or so,,,
so,yesterday i decide to make" Thai green papaya salad " i have that salad before many times,i can taste what spice ingredients in it,,,,i just guessing :)
 Ingredients : estimates
1/2 green papaya /4 cup shredded green papaya
1/2 of english cucumber
1/4 red onion
1 cup cherry tomato

for the salad dressing :
2 clove of garlic
2 lime
1/2 tsp shrimp paste ( optional )
2 tsp fish sauce
1 tbs brown sugar
2 Thai chili's
handful of cilantro
3 stalk green onion
1/4 cup unsalted ground peanut
salt to taste if need it.
Preparation :
peel and cut papaya and shredded
cut cucumber and red onion/julienne
and cut  half cherry tomato

Gado-gado/vegetable salad with peanut sauce

Many stores now offer Gado-Gado dressing in dried blocks to which you simply add hot water, making it easier and cheaper to cook at home.

gado-gado can be made with any vegetable you like,such a cabbage,green bean,beansprout,cucumber
lettuce,etc and topping with fried tempeh or tofu and crackers,such a shrimp cracker or tapioca crackers if you like.
Ingredients :
cabbage from a half of cabbage
1 cup cut green bean
1 carrot
2 cup beansprout
1 cup cut cucumber
1 block of organic tempeh
1/4 cup  vegetable oil
4 hard boiled egg
fried shallot for topping/optional

for peanut sauce :
1 clove garlic
1-2 red Thai chili
juice from a lime or 2 tbsp tamarind juice
1 cup unsalted peanut
1 tsp salt
an half inch  fresh greater galangal /1/2 tsp powder greater galangal ( optional)
1 tbsp cane sugar/brown sugar
1/4 cup hot water
( on the food processor or blender until all the sauce ingredient are combine add  hot water as you need for lightnes of the sauce   )
