Sun-dried tomatoes and feta biscuits


In the previous post I mentioned about basil,,I had a tons of basil need to use up from my little garden,so I made this  Roasted basil tomato soup for late dinner in rainy days,serve with this " Sun dried tomato and feta biscuits "


Ingredients : 8 biscuits
- butter, for greasing
- 2 3/4 cups self-rising flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- ground black pepper
- 6 tbsp butter
- 2 oz sun-dried tomatoes in oil,drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup milk plus extra for glazing


Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 425 F / 220 c
Sift the flour,salt and pepper into a bowl and rub in the butter evenly with your fingers.
Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes and feta then stir in just enough milk to make a soft smooth dough.
Roll out on a floured surface to 1 1/4 inch/6 cm squares,place on the baking sheet and brush with milk
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes,until golden brown.

  5. What a fantastic combination of flavors for a savory biscuit!! I bet the goat cheese also gave a nice bite to the biscuit! I have basil I need to use up too. Beautiful job. :)

To all my foodie friends, Thank you all so much for your support,comments and shared the foods recipes with me,it's been amazing year to know all of you and your creativity from your kitchen to the blogger world,it's been Fun :) and I know it takes a lot of time to do that,so I appreciated.
