Salted caramel cupcakes

Happy valentine's day everyone,,, Wish you all have a wonderful time with a great meals and sweet valentine's dessert to share with family,yours and loves one. Ingredients : yield 6-8  cupcakes - 6 tbsp softened butter - 3/8 cup superfine sugar - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract - 2 eggs lightly beaten - 1/2  cup all purpose flour - 1 tbsp salted caramel cocoa mix - 1 tsp baking powder Topping : - 4 tbsp butter softened - 1 cup confectioners' sugar - 1 tbsp salted caramel cocoa mix - 1 tbsp strawberry syrup - store bought heart candy Preparation : preheat the oven to 350 degree F put 6 paper muffin cases in muffin pan put the butter,sugar,and vanilla extract in a bowl and beat together until light and fluffy gradually add the eggs,beating well after each addition sift the flour,salted caramel and baking powder,using a large metal spoon fold into the mixture,spoon the batter in to the paper cases bake the cupcakes about 20-25 minutes until well risen a

Honey and Almond cake

Ingredients : scant 3/4 cup unsalted butter plus extra for greasing 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup honey 1 Tbsp lemon juice 2 eggs beaten 1 1/2 cup self raising flour 1/2 cup sliced almond warm honey to glaze  Preparation : - pre heat the oven to 350 degree F - grease and line a deep 8 inch cm cake pan /line with  parchment paper. -Place the butter,sugar,honey and lemon juice in a sauce pan and stir over a medium heat without boiling until melted and smooth -Remove the pan from the heat and quickly beat eggs with wooden spoon,sift in the flour and stir lightly with a spoon -pour in to the prepared pan and scatter the almond over the top . - Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until risen,firm and golden brown,cool in the pan for 15 minutes,than turn out onto wire rack to cool completely. Klepon / Indonesian glutinous rice balls

This Indonesian glutinous rice balls is remind me  my childhood memory,my mother use to make this so often and is very easy to make,simple and not using to many ingredients ingredients; 1 1/2 cup sweet rice flour/glutinous powder 3/4 cup lukewarm water 3 drop pandan paste 8 tablespoon grated palm sugar 1 cup grated coconut pinch of salt preparation : mix the rice flour with lukewarm water add 3 drop pandan paste mix it with hand until the dough is firm but flexible pull off about 1 tablespoon of the dough and shape it in to a ball push in the center and put about 1/2 teaspoon grated palm sugar and seal and roll it back into a ball shape, make about 24 pcs,set aside in the dip pan bring water to boil,in medium high temperature drop about 5-6 balls  in to boiling water remove the ball with unsolid spoon once they float to the water surface then roll the balls directly in to grated coconut remove the ball with spoon once they

Manggo Kiwi Ginger crumbled

Fresh fruits,ginger,lemon and sweetness from ginger syrup,make this crumbled taste really well together, The crumbled can be serve warm with whipped topping or scoop of ice cream. Ingredients : yield for 4 serving - 1 mango - 2 kiwi - 2 Tbsp pickle ginger/grated fresh ginger - 2 Tbsp ginger syrup - 1/2 lemon juice for crumbled : - 1 cup oatmeal - 2 Tbsp flour - 2 Tbsp unsalted butter cut in cube - 1 Tbsp brown sugar - 1/2 lemon zest Preparation : pre heat oven 350 degree F peel mango and kiwi cut in cube in medium bowl mix mango, kiwi,pickled ginger or fresh grated ginger stir ginger syrup Fill 4 ramekins with manggo mixture,set aside Meanwhile, make a crumbled In a food proccesor mix oatmeal,flour,sugar,butter and lemon zest Pulse just few times or until crumbled Topping mango mixture with crumble Bake in to the oven for 30 -35 minutes serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Asian sweet potato balls

This Asian sweet potato balls are my family favorite when I was a kid, my mother use to make this so often to served with hot tea, It's just perfect snack for rainy day in Bandung west java Indonesia where I grown up. Ingredients ; 2 large sweet potato/ boiled until soft 1 cup grated sweet coconut 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoon corn starch 1 cup palm sugar powder sugar vegetables oil for fry confectioner's sugar Preparation : peel sweet potato,cut in cube and boil until soft and  drain the water and mashed add grated coconut,vanilla,flour,corn starch,mix until combine. make it a little ball about 1 Tablespoon of the dough roll with hand and fill with little bit palm sugar in the middle. In the small nonstick fry pan,heat vegetable oil until reach about 350 degree F fry them until both side golden brown Sprinkles with powder sugar right away,served warm immediately E N j O Y,,

Avocado Juice

when I was growing up in west java Indonesia,one of my favorite avocado mixed with palm sugar/brown sugar,it was a very simple way to have Avocado  dessert :) It is very different how to prepare avocado in other countries, By the way after I try so many ethnic cuisines, I do like prepared avocado either way savory or sweet. Ingredients : - 3 medium size Avocado - 1/4 cup  sweeted condensed milk - 3 cup crushed Ice - 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice - 1 teaspoon lemon zest ( in the blender mix all ingredients together until combine ) Topping with whipped cream and sprinkles with coco ( optional )

Raspberry cream mini shells

I made this kind mini dessert with pie crust before  raspberry cream nini pie but this time I made with Mini fillo shells What I like about this store bought ( Athens ) mini fillo Shell is very small and crunchy,I'm a big fan of crunchy foods :) quick and easy filling ideas is available on the box. Ingredients : 1 box Mini fillo shells ( ATHENS ) 15 pcs filling : 3 tbs plan Greek style yogurt 2 tbs whipping cream 2 tbs raspberry curd 1/2 tsp lemon juice + lemon zest ( mixing together until combine and filling each shell with a teaspoon cream mixture ) and I garnish with sliced wafer rolls and chocolate sprinkles... Yummy,,Crunchy and melt in my mouth :)

Salted caramel cookies

WITH GROUNDED PEANUT With grounded peanut Ingredients : - 3 stick unsalted butter ( room temperature ) - 1/2 cup sugar - 4 egg yolk - 4 cup flour - 1 cup ground peanut  or  almond flour - 8 Tbsp milk - 1 Tbsp vanilla extract Topping 1 egg wash + 2 tablespoon milk ( whisk egg yolk and milk ) 3 tablespoon sugar Salted caramel frosting : 1 tablespoon milk 2 tablespoon caramel 3 tablespoon powder sugar 2 tablespoon salted caramel cocoa ( mix them well until combine ) Preparation: Pre heat oven on 350 degree F Beat butter and sugar until soft and fluffy add egg yolk one at  time add flour and ground peanut or almond flour add milk and vanilla beat for a while or just stir with spatula until combine sprinkles flour on kitchen board,roll the cookie dough about 1/2 inch thick brush with egg wash and sprinkles with sugar put on the baking pan on parchment paper bake about 22-25 minutes,,, cool it for a while,and c

Grape with Goat cheese and walnut

Holidays season is coming up, this simple grape and goat cheese walnut is perfect for any finger food party idea or potluck with family and friends, can be prepare overnight one day ahead stored covered in the fridge. I got the recipe from costco cook books, I wanted to share with you all as an idea for holiday's food party. Ingredients : -  8 oz cream cheese -  8 oz goat cheese -  salt ( optional ) - 1 pound divine flavor red or green seedless grapes - 8 oz walnuts,finely chopped Preparations : Combine cream cheese and goat cheese,mix until well blended if desired add a pinch of salt thoroughly wash grapes and dry them well Coat each grape with the cheese mixture,roll in chopped walnuts to coat Tip : these can be prepared one day ahead and stored covered,in the refrigerator. Raspberry cream mini pie

Easy and simple mini dessert idea, is ready less than 15 minutes, Crunchy sweet and creamy at the same time. Ingredients : - 1 package store bought pie crust / 2 roll - 1 tbsp melted butter raspberry cream  mini pie filling : - 2 Tbsp plan Greek yogurt - 2 Tbsp cool whip - 2 Tbsp seedless  red raspberry preserves - 1 teaspoon chambord ( optional ) - fresh raspberry or frozen Preparation : pre heat oven on 450 degree F / follow direction on the package cut pie crusts with round biscuit/cookie cutter brush with butter shape in a small shaped muffin's pan bake about 9-11 minutes In a small bowl, mix pie filling ingredients together until smooth and combine,set aside cool pie crust, and fill with 1 a teaspoon of raspberry cream mixture topping with a   fresh raspberry/ frozen raspberry and dust with powder sugar.
