I really had a great time to do this " chopped home edition " with my friends, just for fun :)
We created three meals "Jicama Asian salad" is of one them and gummy bear candy is one of interesting ingredient in this Asian salad of course you skip it if you gonna make this salad, but I kind  like the citrus taste from gummy bear in this salad.

- hand full of cilantro
- 2 Thai chili's
- 1 lemon ( juice + zest )
- 3 gummy bear  ( optional, but taste really well / citrus on this salad )
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon honey

Preparations :
Peel jicama, julienne cut all salad ingredients ( jicama, cucumber, red cabbage and onion+ little bit chopped cilantro )
mix them into large bowl, set aside

Toast pine nuts and garlic for  about 2 minutes or so until slightly brown, transfer into chopper blender
add lemon juice, zest, Thai chili's,sesame oil and cilantro and blender until smooth

Melt 3 piece gummy bear candy, transfer into chopper immediately, a fun part :)

Wonderful, all of it which came together for a great meal. The beet is tempting and the gummy bear is a new discovery for the salad. That said, it's like an Asian style with some of the ingredients added in.

Well done to you and your friends!! I love how you used all the ingredients... especially those gummy bears. They would have stumped me. Sounds like a fun evening of cooking and eating. :)

I love your version of the Jicama salad, but the gummy bears remind me of our Food Network show...'Chopped' as one of the secret ingredients you have to creatively combine into a dish.

Sounds interesting and fun, and probably gives it a 'kick' of slight sweetness. (I would not tell my guests abt. the secret ingredient...LOL)
