Another recipe use sweet matcha/green tea powder as ingredient in this mini cakes
Looks at the color of cake batter, light green and I taste it many times :) You can use long square disposable cupcakes moldes or mini round cake pans
Ingredients :
- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon green tea powder/ sweet matcha
- 1/2 cup milk
Matcha buttercream frosting
1 stick unsalted butter softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon sweet matcha/ green tea powder
Directions :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
With a mixer, cream butter and coconut oil/shortening together. Add sugar, a little at a time. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Stir dry ingredients together in a bowl and add to mixer alternately with milk, starting with the flour and ending with the flour. Mix in vanilla. spoon cup cakes batter into mini cake liner about 2 tablespoon or 3/4 of mini cake liner and bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cup cake comes out clean.
for butter cream frosting
beat butter and confectioner's sugar until light add green tea powder/sweet matcha and milk and continue beat until light and fluffy, transfer into disposable plastic decorating bag or piping bag and decorate mini cakes / cupcakes.
You are great in inventing other desserts with the green tea powder. Just impressive and the frosting on the cakes are fabulous, also love the colors.
