Pears ginger Crisp

To my friend Cindy Thank you so much for sharing those Pears with us and I have to do something with it,it is a lot of pears , you gave me fresh pears from the  back yard,and now you have Pears ginger crisp for a dessert :)










Ingredients :
- 8-10 pears
- 2 Tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 lemon  juice and zest or Orange
- 2 Tbsp ginger syrup

for crisp/crumble
- 1 cup oatmeal/old fashioned oats
- 1 cup granolla cereal
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
( Into food processor,process until crumbled )


Preparation:Preheat oven on 350 F
bake for about 40-50 minutes

peel pears,cored and cut in cube into baking dish mix pears cube with grated ginger,lemon juice and zest or orange ,nutmeg,cinnamon and ginger syrup mix them until combine 
topping with crumble mixture
Serve warm,topping with frozen whipped cream/ ice cream if you like.

  4. I never thought of pears and ginger combination. As a ginger lover, I have to try this out! Now that summer fruits will slowly disappear, we need to enjoy other fruits like apples and pears! Thanks for sharing the delicious recipe!
