I have a box of peppermint bark during holiday season from one of our friend,I don't know what to do with it. Since I was off yesterday. I try to use up this peppermint bark to make pancakes, It turn out really good :)
Ingredients:
I use store bought pancake mix just add water and follow direction on the package and about 1/2 cup of chopped peppermint bark + pancakes syrup and whipped cream ( optional )
Chopped peppermint bark add some about 3 tablespoon to pancake batter and mixed
sprinkles the rest of chopped peppermint bark in to pancake before you flip them
You can serve without pancakes syrup if you like, for reduce sugar,a sweetness from bark is sweet enough to start morning activity :)

What a great idea!! I love that your re-purposed the peppermint bark in the pancakes!! Well done! Great pictures too. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great use for the peppermint bark--I have a peppermint/white chocolate bar sitting in my pantry, and this is giving me ideas.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and creative. Thumbs up for someone like you who simply came up with your own recipe because I tend to that most of the time now.
ReplyDeleteGreat transformation with the peppermint and yes, I simply love it.
Now this is a pancake I can wrap my...fork around. Lol!
