Kue lupis is one of Indonesian dessert made from glutinous rice,Its been long time since I have this dessert last time,,,When I visit New york city about a month ago,I found this glutinous rice cube in "Top line" Asian market in Brooklyn,I bought one package, sixteen little package inside.

If I have to make it this glutinous rice cube,It take several hours to make, honestly I never make it my self, I'm glad I found this Instant package,is ready to cook just follow the preparations on the package, the only thing I have to make is syrup/sauce for this dessert.

This dessert serve with simple syrup made from palm sugar, pandan fragrant and grated coconut on top.but I made my own recipe for the syrup,,,I just combine all ingredient and simmer on low heat

Ingredients:
glutinous rice cube ( store bought ) picture above.

coco pandan syrup :

1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut

pinch of salt
( simmer and stir on low heat until hot and combine )

Follow direction for glutinous rice on the package, and serve with coco pandan syrup,,,,
