green tea mini cakes with matcha buttercream frosting

Another recipe use sweet matcha/green tea powder as ingredient in this mini cakes Looks at the color of cake batter, light green and I taste it many times :) You can use long square disposable cupcakes moldes or mini round cake pans Ingredients : - 1  stick unsalted butter, room temperature - 1/4 cup coconut oil - 1  cup sugar - 2 eggs - 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt - 1 teaspoon baking powder - 1 tablespoon green tea powder/ sweet matcha - 1/2 cup milk Matcha buttercream frosting 1 stick unsalted butter softened  1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar 1 tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon sweet matcha/ green tea powder Directions : Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. With a mixer, cream butter and coconut oil/shortening together. Add sugar, a little at a time. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Jicama asian salad

I really had a great time with my friends to do this "chopped home edition "it was fun We created three meals "Jicama Asian salad" is of one them and gummy bear candy is one of secret and interesting ingredient in this salad,  of course you skip it if you going to  make this salad, but I kind  like the citrus taste from gummy bear in this salad. Ingredients : - 1 jicama - 1 English cucumber / cucumber - 1/2 red onion - 1/4 small red cabbage - 2 table spoon chopped cilantro Dressing ingredients : - 1 cup pine nuts - 2 clove garlic - hand full of cilantro - 2 Thai chili's - 1 lemon ( juice + zest ) - 3 gummy bear  ( optional,but taste really well / citrus on this salad ) - 1 tablespoon sesame oil - 1 teaspoon honey Preparations : Peel jicama, julienne cut all salad ingredients ( jicama,cucumber,red cabbage and onion+ little bit chopped cilantro ) mix them into large bowl,set aside Toast pine nuts and garlic for  about 2 minute

Roasted brussel sprouts with turkey bacon

I use  turkey bacon on this  roasted brussel sprout recipe but you can use regular bacon if you like, I also made this  sauteed Brussels sprout with shallot and garlic  before, simple and easy to make. Ingredients : - 2 lb Brussels sprouts - 2 clove garlic - 1/2 red onion - 1/2 teaspoon red flakes pepper - 1 teaspoon  salt orange ginger seasoning/ optional/ any seasoned salt - 5 sliced uncooked bacon - 2 table spoon olive oil preparation; preheat oven on 400 F wash,trim Brussels sprout and cut in half chop onion and garlic,cut turkey bacon thinly slice /strip mix all ingredients into baking dish,season with any salt seasoned drizzle with olive oil, mix them well bake for about 35-40 minutes

Mango green tea smoothie

I'm still using this sweet matcha/green tea ingredients for today blog post, two time in a row :) this time I made mango green tea smoothie,you can switch with any fruits you like, such a blueberry, banana,kiwi and mint,ginger adding spice taste to it too. Ingredients : for 2 serving - 1 mango - 1 cup plan Greek yogurt - 11/2 cups crushed/cube ice - 1/4 cup cold water - 1 tablespoon agave nectar - 2 teaspoon sweet matcha/green tea powder preparation; * peel mango and cut in cube/or use frozen mango blend ingredients together in electric blender, or use auto smoothie button if you have on blender,pour into tall glass and serve immediately.

Green tea macarons

I'm glad I can share these green tea macarons with friends, I use sweet matcha green tea as ingredients  and filling with simple white chocolate ganache/spread. Ingredients : - 1 cup powdered sugar - 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon almond flour - 2 1/4 teaspoon matcha powder - 2 egg white room temperature - 5 tablespoon granulated sugar filling : - 4 ounces white chocolate morsel - 1/4 cup whipping cream - 1 tablespoon butter Preparations : - Line two cookies sheet with parchment paper combine powdered sugar,almond flour and  matcha powder in a food processor,pulse into fine powder sift mixture into medium bowl,discard large pieces - beat egg whites in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until foamy,beat with vanilla add granulated sugar,beating at high speed 2-3 minutes until mixture foam stiff,shiny peaks - add half of flour mixture to egg whites stir with spatula to combine ( about 12 strokes) repeat with remaining flour mixture make about 15 stroke

Chicken mango BBQ slow cooker

I create this chicken mango BBQ with store bought "Costco" cooked rotisserie chicken and leftover mango ginger habanero sauce  , it's sound too spicy but is not, I even add more spiciness to it and balance with honey ginger and sweet soy sauce for sweetness. Ingredients : - 1 large cooked rotisserie chicken - 1 onion - 2 clove garlic - 2 Thai chili pepper/ 1 tbsp red pepper flakes - 1 cup ketchup - 1 1/2 cup  mango ginger habanero sauce - 1 tbsp honey ginger - 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce - 1 tsp ginger powder - 1 tsp salt or more to taste Direction : remove all the skin from rotisserie chicken,pulled out of the meats and shred handed,set aside chop onion, garlic and chili ( chili are optional ) mix ketchup,  mango ginger habanero sauce  ,honey and sweet soy sauce put all ingredients into a crock pot,add dry spices and stir evenly until well mixed cook in low heat for about 5-6 hours ready to serve on the buns or any type of bread you like

Sun dried tomato hummus

Another favorite recipe using chickpeas/garbazo bean, I made this humus almost once a week, I add sun dried tomato in this recipe to add more color and taste. Ingredients : - 2 cans of 15 oz chikpeas/garbanzo beans - 2 clove garlic - 1 lemon ( zest and juice ) - 2 tbsp sun dried tomato in oil - 1 tbsp honey - 1/4 cup tahini/sesame paste - 1 tbsp cumin - 1 tsp ground cardamom seed  - 1 tsp curry powder - 4 tbsp olive oil preparation : drain 1 can of chickpeas completely and drain half of water from another can mixed all ingredients into food processor  except olive oil,  pulse food processor until all ingredients are smooth and well blended and add olive oil, pulse for another a minute or so,save on the fridge and ready to use for spread on the bagels or dip with vegetables you like.
