I like the spices you used here. I am always leaning towards the soy-sesame or southwestern flavors in rice, but this does sound like a tasty change of pace. Cinnamon and cardamon is always in the spice rack, so this recipe may be on the table soon. Hope you are enjoying the weekend!

I will try it today, eat it with grill chicken. Without the spices it will be chicken rice.

You've made me hungry for rice! I need to work it into our menu next week. You'll have a fantastic time in France....and the weather should be better next month :)

This sounds tasty and I do like the spices, I don't use cardamom much but I love the way it smells. I bet it is lovely in rice. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Ridwan, perfect recipe. We also add a teaspoon of cummin seeds( Jintan Putih) in almost every recipe of rice.

Basmati is the only type of rice I cook because its the best recommend for diabetic. My other half is diabetic so I switched to basmati long time ago.

Lovely spices and that chicken broth added is new to me, simple and flavourful.
