I create the shrimp dish with mostly leftover ingredients need to use up soon. I had pickled ginger strip,spring roll sauce and tom yum paste, I just mixed with little bit of these ingredients,and add green pepper and tomato from the garden, It's turn out really good with spicy from fresh cayenne pepper,This dish good to served with jasmine rice.
Ingredients :
- 2 lbs raw shrimp/skinless and tail on
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large tomato
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup pickled ginger strip
- 1 shallot
- 2 clove garlic
- 2 fresh cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp tom yum paste
- 2 tbsp maesri spring roll sauce ( is kind sweet sauce )
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
Preparation :
wash the raw shrimp,set aside
cut onion,pepper and tomato,set aside
cut shallot,garlic and cayenne pepper into thinly slice
heat vegetable oil in large fry pan/wok
saute shallot,garlic,cayenne pepper and pickled ginger strip
add shrimp and spice up with tom-yum paste,spring roll sauce,soy sauce
cook until shrimp change the color or until shrimp are cook
then add green pepper and tomato
and cook for another 3-5minutes
ready to serve with rice is best ,,,,,
