Rice noodles and shrimp soup

Leftover rice noodles is good for stir fry or soup,every time I made cold spring rolls I always had leftover rice noodles,so this time I use them for a soup mixed with shrimp and vegetables normally I cook with any vegetables what I have on hand and adding seafood or  thinly sliced meat if you like and add sliced Thai chili if you like more spicy, I like hot spicy foods :) Ingredients : estimates 4 oz rice noodles ( cooked or soak in the water follow a directions ) 4 oz raw shrimp 1 can 8 oz young corn /baby corn 1 can 15 oz peeled straw mushroom 1 clove garlic ( chopped ) 2 clove shallots ( chopped ) 1 tbs sesame oil 2 cube chicken bouillon  with 3 cup of water 2 tsp Chinese five spice 1/2soy sauce 1 tsp black pepper 1 Thai chili/chopped ( optional ) chopped cilantro or green onion preparation : in the medium/ large soup pan heat sesame oil on medium high temperature fry chopped garlic and shallots until cook add chicken bouillon and water ( chicken stock

Broccoli and Cheddar Frittata

I made a lots of cookies lastweek using a lot of egg yolk,I save the white eggs,to use up later, just try to make a simple dish,is similar with omelet the only different we have to broil in to the oven for a few minutes.so if you guys had leftover white eggs,this recipe is very easy:) This recipe adapted from  Healthy Appetite with Ellie Krieger    except I only use white eggs and fresh chopped broccoli.Ingredients : 8-10 white eggs 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 small red onion sliced (about 1 cup) 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli 1/4 teaspoon salt Freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (2 ounces) Directions : In a medium ovenproof nonstick skillet heat the oil over a medium flame. Dau Hu Cuon/Tofu springrolls with peanut sauce

You can prepare this tofu spring rolls with store bought fried tofu to make it more easier or grilled extra firm tofu and also you can use season fried bean curd ( normally use for Inarizushi ) just slice them and ready to use for any cold spring rolls. I made this cold tofu spring rolls so often, I brings to potluck or party, one of all my friends  favorite  especially my homemade peanut sauce to serve with this cold spring rolls. Holidays season is begin,hope you guys have a great holiday with your family's,friends,co-worker and neighbors etc. I can't believe is almost the end of the year of 2011,time just fly by,to all of you who travel during holiday have a safe trip !!!! WITH GROUNDED PEANUT With grounded peanut Ingredients : - 3 stick unsalted butter ( room temperature ) - 1/2 cup sugar - 4 egg yolk - 4 cup flour - 1 cup ground peanut  or  almond flour - 8 Tbsp milk - 1 Tbsp vanilla extract Topping 1 egg wash + 2 tablespoon milk ( whisk egg yolk and milk ) 3 tablespoon sugar Salted caramel frosting : 1 tablespoon milk 2 tablespoon caramel 3 tablespoon powder sugar 2 tablespoon salted caramel cocoa ( mix them well until combine ) Preparation: Pre heat oven on 350 degree F Beat butter and sugar until soft and fluffy add egg yolk one at  time add flour and ground peanut or almond flour add milk and vanilla beat for a while or just stir with spatula until combine sprinkles flour on kitchen board,roll the cookie dough about 1/2 inch thick brush with egg wash and sprinkles with sugar put on the baking pan on parchment paper bake about 22-25 minutes,,, cool it for a while,and c

Kiwi Citrus Salad dressing

To my friend Cindy,,,thanks for the grape fruits,some of them I have for my breakfast and lunch even on the salad and I still have some more :) Because I like to make homemade salad dressing and I always have other type of citrus,so I mix them with orange and kiwi,,,so citrus,,,Love it :) Ingredients : 2 kiwi  ( peeled and cut ) 1 orange ( 3 tbs fresh orange juice + 1/2 tsp orange zest ) 1/2 grape fruits ( juice ) 1 tablespoon lemon juice + 1/2 tsp lemon zest 1 clove garlic 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon avocado oil 1 tablespoon mayonnaisse 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard ( blender all ingredients until combine )

Stir fried rice noodles mixed with vegetables in peanut curry sauce, full with asian flavored, fresh ginger,sesame oil blended with creamy peanut butter soy sauce and sweet soy sauce, use any vegetables you like and top with fried egg if you like. Ingredients :estimates - 8 oz rice noodles - 2 oz snow peas or 2 cup cut fresh green beans - 1 cup celery stalk thinly slice - 1/4 brocolli - 1/2  onion - 2 clove garlic For the sauce : - 2 Tablespoon sesame oil - 1 Tablespoon grated ginger - 2 Tablespoon soy sauce - 1 Tablespoon sweet soy sauce - 1 teaspoon curry powder - 1/4 cup creamy/chunk peanut butter - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes - 1/2 tespoon white / black pepper Preparation; Cook rice noodles follow the package on the package meanwhile, slice onion and chop garlic,set aside In a small bowl mix all the peanut curry  sauce inggredients until combine On medium heat, in large skillet  fry onion and garlic until fragr
